2011 FALL RECREATIONAL SEASON INFORMATION  
                     

Player Age

Age of player on 7/31/11:
  • Challengers ages:        5 - 18
  • All other levels ages:   3 - 13

Scheduling

Challengers will meet on Sundays -                                                 11:00 a.m.  - 12:00 p.m.
U-4 Chipmunks will meet on Sundays -                                           12:00 p.m.  -   1:00 p.m.
U-6 will have practice & games on Sundays -                                 12:00 p.m.  -   1:30 p.m.
U-8 may have one weekly practice* and games on Sundays -       12:00 p.m.  -   2:00 p.m.
U-11 will have one weekly practice & Sunday games  -                    2:30 p.m.  -   4:30 p.m.
U-14 will have one weekly practice & Sunday games -                  12:00 p.m.  -   2:00 p.m.   -or-   2:30 p.m. -  4:30 p.m.

* Practice day will be determined by field availability & coach. Coaches will announce any scheduled practices & practice locations to their team. Coaches may post practices on their online team page.
 
Season Dates

U4 - U14:            Opening Day will be Sunday, August 28th, 2011
Challengers:     Opening Day will be Sunday, September 11, 2011

A season schedule will be posted to the website and emailed to participants once available by late August.

U11 & U14 Teams

Gender Split Teams:   Teams will be single-gender for U11 and older, whenever the registration numbers allow.  Historically, registration numbers will likely require that U-14 remain co-ed.


Game Locations

Challengers         DV campus
U-4 Chipmunks   Assigned DV or DD campus (no traveling between campuses)**
U-6 & U-8            Assigned DV or DD campus (no traveling between campuses)**
U-11                     DV and DD campuses (traveling between campuses)*
U-14                      DV and DD campuses (traveling between DD, DV and 7th  St. field)*

  * Every attempt is made to keep teams on their “home” field as much as possible.
** If enough participants register for each campus, then U4 Chipmunks will be at both campuses.  Otherwise, U4 will be held exclusively at the DV Campus.
 
        Directions to all locations.


Equipment

U4                                players receive a T-shirt & a size #3 soccer ball
Challengers & U-6     players receive a soccer jersey & a Size #4 soccer ball.
U-8 thru U-11             players receive a soccer jersey, shorts, and soccer socks,
                                    but must provide their own size #4 ball
U-14                             players receive a soccer jersey, shorts, and soccer socks,
                                     but must provide their own size #5 ball. 
 
Soccer balls may be ordered for $15.00 per ball during the registration process.
 
ALL players MUST wear shin guards in order to participate.
You must provide your own shin guards.

Cleats are highly recommended for ages 8 and up

IMPORTANT NOTICES for All Levels (except Challenger*)
  • Your registration will not become active until your payment is received.
  • Payment must be postmarked on or before 6/30/11
    to be eligible for the Early Bird rates.
  • Payment must be postmarked on or before July 16th,
    or the registration will be wait listed,
    regardless of when the registration was submitted online.

    Every reasonable effort will be made to assign wait listed (paid) registrants to a team.
